Its a pain as you say if its important they will leave a message, i have set my phone not to ring if the number is not in my phone book. At least it stops the phone ringing all the time.
No, you tell bloctel your own numbers that you want protected from receiving telemarketing calls.
You’ll like this Stella… for a while after I’d registered both my numbers I couldn’t remember the name of the blocking service. I got 2 calls quite soon after registering, detected they were selling, and said “I am on the liste rouge you know you are not permitted to call me”. Both couldn’t get off the phone fast enough.
Bloctel, liste rouge.,… Who cares what it’s called, it works.

That’s not likely to work as you intend. Most of the telemarketers have autodial systems that work on blocks of 1000 numbers, with just the last 3 digits varying. I see this a lot on my phone.
