The chasse is run by the President of the chasse. The chasse dates are controlled by the département as well as the number to be shot. All taken need to be tagged. Maybe you need to talk to the Police de l’environnement?

Well, as I’ve mentioned before, the chasse is very well organised around here as it should be everywhere. We have no problems with the chasse. Hunts are always published in advance with a map of where they will be. When I do wander close to where they are out walking, there are always people posted at regular intervals with walky talkies who will ask me where I’m going and tell the others. I’m not aware that any untoward incidents have occured. So, I agree that it is idiots that don’t follow the rules or give them lip service that are the real problem. A well organised chasse should not be a problem.
