Trump can do as he wishes, re renaming thngs, but I don’t know what legal weight is behind it?
He did ban AP from the WH because they did not conform to his wishes. But then again, what excuse does he need to ban free press?!
And isn’t there a difference between the UK and France? As I understand it, open tocorrection, The Academie Francaise tells the Gov how to use language? In the UK there is no equivalent body, is there?
The Oxford English Dictionary takes it’s definitions from common usage, it does not dictate how words should be defined/used.
“Literally” has literally reversed it’s deinition! (open for argument on that too)
