Lake Ontario is now Lake America

AFAIK there is no international body that names areas of the globe - it’s just a matter of common usage.

Trump can mandate that American organisations use a certain name, but the rest of the world does as it pleases.

Estuaqry?

I really don’t know .. There is a type of mental condition where the guy in charge is playing about ..that is intentionally messing with people’s minds just because they can , and it amuses them. Because they know they can play and no one can stop them It could be that or he is gaga

I suggest it’s distraction theory -

“Don’t mention the war! Or the economy, for that matter. Or the Epstein files. Or Natalie Harp. Or “affordability”, which, as Donald Trump recently said at a rally, is a word that was “never used” by the media before he took office.” Or approval ratings …

Or maybe suggest some other more appropriate name changes, such as:

  • Donald Gump
  • The US Trumpstitution
  • The Trite House
  • The Strait of Hubris

Any others?

All I want to see is ‘Donald-Trump-Is-Gone’:check_mark:

Very disappointing reaction from Apple.

But good news for MapQuest..

“On Tuesday, it was reported that MapQuest, the pioneering online mapping app, reached the No 1 spot on Apple’s App Store after openly rejecting Trump’s request to rename the lake. The app simply a screenshot of Lake Ontario on social media last Thursday along with the caption: “We’re not changing it.””

The trouble is of course that the US is a very sick (unwell) country. The man may go but the apparatus that put him there will still very much be in place. It’s going to take a very long time to rid the country of it’s sickness, just as it took 30 or 40 or even 50 years to get it to that place. We’ll all celebrate when he’s gone but the primary benefit will be that we see less of the leathery orange skin and deranged gesticulating. There may be a glimmer of hope from someone else in charge but it will be a long road back to health.

I agree but, I’m sure the world will heave a great sigh of relief when..

Not just less but hopefully everything about him will be obliterated, blasted out into space, and go down in history as one of the worst things, among many perhaps, that happened not to just the US, but to the world.

Unfortunately there are still others there :face_with_peeking_eye::enraged_face::sob:

That was a depressing read, I thought. He’s worried about the antichrist and he’s working for him. And if he’s concerned about end times, why is he producing kids?

Unfortuantely you are too right @toryroo. Trump is the figurehead, but hardly anyone would call him the brains behind all that is going on at the moment.

Well yes, and JDV is his vice-president, pfffff
