ive read quite a bit on line about working for Leggett’s…so far its all rather bad…but its older than 4 or 5 years ago…im just looking for additional income for the next few years…
can anyone tell me if anything has changed in that time. as im talking with their office next week, and just after ‘on the ground’ info from any agents that use this site etc…or know of them…
We bought via Leggetts in 2021/2 and some of the agents seemed happy, but others less so. If you have a small, more densely populated area it’s probably much better value than if you cover a large part of the Cantal requiring several hours driving for a viewing of a cheaper house with low commission. We spent a couple of hours with one agent, looking at a number of houses, and he’d had to drive over an hour each way to get there. This is, of course, not going to be a problem unique to Leggetts.
We sold a property with Leggotts a while back. We got the price we wanted and the buyer paid all Leggotts and notaires fees.
At the time the Leggotts agent approached us to ask if they could put the property on their books even though we already had it with another non exclusive agent.
Clearly they already had an interested client so good for them. Thwy were being pro active and both the agent and us got what we wanted. Win win for all concerned.
