Our garage light switch is a bit dodgey and we need to replace or repair it. Does anyone know how we disassemble this? There don’t seem to be any screws, so do we just pull the front off or wrench it off or what. The instructions we found are useless.
The cover pops off as I recall.
This is a light switch, we have tried pulling, to no avail, prising with a screwdriver, equally unyielding. Maybe there’s a technique I lack?
The top cover of the switch, not the whole thing,
I’ll have a go.
The switch cover sits on a spindle in the middle, use a small flat screwdriver either side in between the case and the switch cover and gently lever the cover off.

Switch of the power and hit it with a hammer, so much more satisfying ![]()
