Hi

No, they’re 1,28€ and you need 1.50€ for outside France
No, you need violet ones….
Apparently you can print your own stamps online off the La Poste website
There is only one standard of letter post to UK (no 1st/2nd)… priced, as others have said at 1,50€… easily obtained from your local Post Office.
OK, thanks everyone.
Very kind of you.
Strange - the ones I bought online were 1.40-something (maybe 1.47?) for under 20gms. Have I bought the wrong ones?
1.50€ is the price,…
If you buy the stamps for printing yourself, they are indeed 1.47 - you have the right ones @SuePJ !
Strange, I filled in all the stuff about sending to the UK, less than 20gms, bought a whole sheet of them. Definitely less than 1.50€
Our posts crossed! You are quite right, Sue!
I am just about to do the same, but I have been printing these off for months now at that price…
I assume there is a discount for printing your own - I send a package every two weeks to the UK (documents) and it is also cheaper by a few centimes than buying stamps, but I do it because I have to go a fair distance now to get to a post office that works…
That’s good to know!!
I’m talking about over-the-counter prices for stamps bought at the post office or in my tabac, although I only bother with the prioritaire and the vitesse lente (rouge et vert) as I don’t have a demande for the european ones
official over-the-counter and print-at-home price info here
Last week I printed a page of stamps, via the laposte site, for Christmas cards to the UK. I can confirm the price was 1.47€ for 20g and under.
Thanks. I have just doe that. I already had an account with La Poste but have never visited it really.
I know folk have many reasons for doing things on-line… but, whenever possible, can we support our local Post Offices…
La Poste is always threatening our local Sub-PO with closure… and it is actually a lifeline for those who do not have on-line facilities… as well as those who simply like to have it as a spot to collect parcels …
One reason don’t have a “pas de pub” sticker and accept having the publicity in my post box, as they get paid to deliver it…
