Lille recommendations

Hello,

I’m starting the long-stay visa process which will require proof of accommodation for 3 months. I don’t have friends or family so will stay in an Airbnb for this initial period.

Does anyone have recommendations for neighborhoods in Lille that are ideal for a person without a car? My wishlist: close to transit, bars, restaurants and grocery stores.

Lille is lovely, go for the centre, you can walk everywhere. I suggest you use street view to look at the area around, once you find a potential air BnB.

I forgot to include that my budget is around 1250$, but I’ll certainly search in the city center.
