Unfortunately not Lot et Garonne (yet?). We are registered with a group practice in our local town and fortunately they give 24 hour cover. When he first set up, he was on his own and saved our Airedale’s life late one Friday evening. She’d eaten slug pellets in a neighbouring farmer’s field and was fitting and foaming at the mouth as we drove at breakneck speed into town, my OH in the back of the car with her willing her to live. The vet made her sick but what saved her was he gave her morphine to stop the fitting. We were very lucky - not all vets do this. And he now (not surprisingly) has a very good and very successful group practice.

If not yet linked to the 3115…
Emergency Contact details should be on the Door (?) of the local Vet…
or on their Internet site… or their answerphone…
