Looking for Franco-British tax adviser — Dordogne area

Hi all, hoping for some recommendations from anyone who’s been in a similar position.

We’re a British couple who relocated to the Dordogne in mid-2025 and are facing our first French tax declaration alongside a final UK self-assessment. Our situation is a little more complex than average — one of us is a freelancer with UK business (will be changing to micro-entrepeneur this year) , and the other has income from multiple sources and countries — so we really need someone with genuine cross-border UK/France expertise rather than a general accountant.

We’re based near Périgueux but happy to work remotely with the right person.

If you’ve used someone you’d genuinely recommend for a complex Franco-British tax situation, we’d love to hear from you — either in the comments or by DM. Equally if you’ve had a bad experience somewhere, feel free to DM us about that too!

We use https://www.frenchtaxonline.com/ to do our taxes and our raw affairs are complicated too…

They are good, do just about all of the leg work and also speak English if you don’t want to correspond I. French.

Hi,

We use the firm below and have done so since we moved here as a result of Brexit. I can thoroughly recommend them and they are very reasonable cost-wise. They also provided advice regarding our UK business.
