The lovely lady at the garage checked it against our insurance address and said ‘pas grave.’
For the moment we will leave it until we find the strength (and language) to tackle it and if challenged will look suitably shocked.
Today after successful contre visit we returned to garage with a big tin of posh biscuits to say thanks to said lovely lady who has done all the work to help us get our carte grise. She was happily surprised and we were kissed and thanked profusely.

Fair enough… one last test, would be to show it to your Insurers and make sure that they, too, are happy…

As for the Garage… these simple acts of generosity will earn you friends for life…
