Don’t waste your time trying to reasonably argue with these people, Most seem to have a medieval level of superstition about vaccines and their contemporary conspiracy theories correspond to tropes that were first seen many centuries ago in the persécution of the Knights Templars and the Spanish persecution of the Jews and Muslims. Unfortunately modern France has a fairly unsavoury history too from Dreyfuss to Zemour and of course Vichy France in between.
It’s not a coincidence that most vaccine opposition whether in Europe or North America is associated with the far right and libertarianism.

I’ll defend the guardian here as it wasn’t their own opinion and just a report (out of wales…???) but I’ll state here for the record that I personally didn’t have an abusive childhood and I don’t even recognise the term “vaccine hesitant”…those of us opposed are not vaccine hesitant at all we are pro informed consent pro choice

There is a bioethical checklist for vaccines and a bioethical checklist for gene therapy…you would think that never the twain shall meet only the EUA was granted masquerading as “vaccine” when it’s a gene therapy

If you do your own research into Jeffrey B Kindler you’ll see that he’s a lawyer who has risen to the top of various companies including McDonald’s and General Electric, he was only with Pfizer for eight years and left in 2010 so the idea that they are manipulating the Spotify spat is beyond ridiculous.
Our daughter in law is a nurse working on a covid ward and yesterday was confirmed positive for 3rd time. She is fully vaccinated and boosted unlike the majority of those she cares for.
Her sister is antivax and still is because she thinks its trendy.
She watches too much you tube and listens to all the bollocks spewed out by those who are in denial to the protection vaccination provides to preserving life, just saying.
As most of us know the vaccines are not gene therapies although the arrival at the vaccines was via the same thought process.

Do you have any contact with people in the outside world (shopping, meeting up with people) apart from the internet or by phone, or have you isolated yourself from the outside world because of covid.
I know you walk your dog’s all the time but do you interact with anyone in your local area, or have you shut yourself away so you don’t catch covid.
I saw a similar written article yesterday. It was pretty amazing that the first patients treated, after 10 years, still has the cancer killing T-cells in thier body, ready to fight any reoccurrence of the cancer.
If the cells are that long lived, it seems possible that they provide a long term protection that is just sitting there ready to mop up any remaining, or any new cancerous cells before they can develop further.
Although this treatment doesn’t work on ‘solid’ cancers, the article said that lots of work is ongoing to adapt it. That would be the holy grail of cancer research.
It certainly would, it would also allow manufacturers of processed foods to not have to take out the things that cause the problems in the first place because we have a cure $$$$$.
Indeed, but as my mum used to say ‘you can’t have everything in life’. And such a cure, although it wouldn’t be 100%, would be a great boon to so many people … that is unless some US corporation gets all the patents on it and charges a million dollars for the privilege, or some such ridiculous amount.
Just deviating a bit more from the main topic if I may. Watching gut microbiome videos it becomes abundantly clear that the reduced microbiome is having a big effect on peoples health, especially children and asthma. The rates of child asthma have rockected in the developed western world. We are fed on news about air polution being the cause. I have travelled a bit but welcome input from others that in Asian countries the air pollution is much higher yet there hasn’t been the same increase in child asthma?? The western diet is for some very poor leaving their bodies and microbiome unable to deal with things the Asian can.
I still believe we need to clean up the air as much as possible but cleaning up our diet should be easier and cheaper.
