Less extreme and more capable than Zack Polanski?
I don’t really have much interest in municipal politics in the US, however I get the sense that Polanski is the Farage of the left. Good for a sound bite but policies that don’t survive scrutiny, simplistic solutions for complex problems. He was interviewed on The Rest is Politics and really didn’t deal well with detailed questions.

That’s interesting. It was my impression too - I saw him interviewed by Rory Stewart and he was very weak on figures - but I find it difficult to forget about his previous career.
