Fantastic evening at the Marciac Jazz Festival. Popped into a small house that has been turned into a gallery and found a great trio with Esther Mengual singing. Then into the main square and at one of the many open air restauraunts bopped away to MR Chang and the Texas Sluts - fantabulous harmonica player! The joint was jumping! Whole thing is oraganised by Wynton Marsalis, plenty of free gigs - African, Cuban and world music, clothes, music, art galleries, jewellery, food, wine and Armagnac and food producers. Finishes Monday.
