Hi has anyone applied for a small mortgage to top up the shortfall in a property purchase ie budget is a little under asking price and property has already been reduced. What is the process of applying for a mortgage. For example is it based on property size/income etc.
mortgages are based purely on your financial situation and ability to repay - as a general rule, your repayments can’t be more than a third of your disposable income
