but people are not spending much when they are here. I do changeovers for two homes and run my own B&B and some people are bringing their own supplies from home, judging by the leftover containers and bottles we've had to clear away.
I remember, 30 years ago, when we had a cottage in St.Valery Sur Somme. On a Sunday market, the Brits "tour bus" arrived for the day. A Vietnamese guy selling street food had cut up some bits to taste. 2 French people said " Look at all the Anglais, queuing up for freebies, with no intention of buying" Our daughter used to busk (she's a saxophonist) and earned her tips from the French. Very few Brits would delve into their pockets.
