Mr. Allegro passes away

My dad had one as a “courtesy :rofl::rofl:” car when his morris 1800 company car was in for repairs. My younger brother decided he needed an unsupervised driving lesson in it and crashed it straight into the house wall. Of course, I found it absolutely hilarious which really didn’t help at the time (I just had a giggling fit remembering it to the bemusement of my OH :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:)

Probably the square steering wheel’s fault.

BL must have sold way more Allegros than they did TR7s.

I remember them being fairly reliable (as long as you jacked them up in the correct spot), something you couldn’t say about the TR7.
