That particular 335 only made $850.000 at auction. If Iād known it was for saleā¦
Too late now. But I read it was only $847,500. I have a cherry red 1965 ES-330 and I would want a bit more than that for it. (Strange, I havenāt been offered anything near that amount.)
It will have cost the buyer quite a bit more given the auction house fees - registration, buyerās premium (typically 20%) and any applicable sales tax.
The price at which the hammer falls is very much a ānetā figure.
