Music to lighten the mood - please add your own choices

A long gone memory was resurrected today by a BBC Channel 4 programme about Boney M’s Rasputtin. I love that song and bits of it were played throughout the programme, with contributers from Africa and the Middle East as well as Russia and the UK

My only gripe is, maybe because I came upon it too late, that they didn’t play the whole song in one go.

The only fault with Alouette is that they have a limited number of ‘oldies’ that they play. There are some that, like you, I’d be quite happy to never hear again but on the whole, I enjoy their music :pink_heart:

Rosalía Lux

It would not be a normal choice for myself, but this is one seriously good album, the later half of the album is brilliant.

Coincidentally, I’m just watching the BBC Proms doing Graceland on BBC 2. Excellent stuff

Lisa Gerrard’s been posted before, so why not again - so sublime…

This is a AI generated Song - didn’t know that until after I posted…when I tried to find the name of the singer..! She, or it, ( Eleanor “Nora” Jackson’), has a lovely voice and I like the song! Oh dear..!

I don’t know how to deal with this – the voice is one I wish was from a real female singer, but she doesn’t exist!

This is another one..

Watched/listened to The New World Symphony on the Beeb last night.

Glorious tuneful music. But feels so at odds with the “New World” as it is today.

Thought I’d share my current earworm
