As you know, here on SF I only ever recommend people or services that I know, work with, believe in and have found to be good at what they do. When we started SF the idea was very much to build a community where people could find recommendations by chatting to others - a bit like a virtual pub! Only yesterday I provided a recommendation for a member who is looking for a lift installer in Northern France and it just so happened that I know of one,
Now France is a big country so if you are looking for a lift installer in Montpellier, I can’t help - sorry! But maybe someone else can…
But what I can do is provide recommendations for services / individuals who can cover the entire country so with that said, I am delighted to introduce the newest member of the SF providers ‘family’ - drum roll…Thomas Marron.
Tom’s based in France and is one of the partners at Blevins Franks, providing tax and financial planning to French residents or people planning a move here. His role is to help you understand the French tax system and organise your affairs (succession / inheritance / income and capital gains tax / investments and pensions etc) to comply with and optimise, French tax rules.
He has all the right pieces of paper - a diploma in Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute, a law degree, is a dual national and is a French qualified ‘courtier en assurance’ to boot!
There are significant tax changes happening in both the UK and France currently so a financial review makes total sense. The initial consultation is entirely FOC and I strongly suggest you get in touch with Tom and see what he can do for you.
