I am especially interested in practical advice, local experiences, and tips that can help make things easier and more efficient in daily life.

Best thing to do to begin with is to read lots and lots of the existing threads on here (use the search if needed) - there is a shedload of great information!

Then ask questions!

(BTW - obvious point maybe - bear in mind that taxation and administrative matters change over time so advice given in older threads may not be accurate).
