And very French - they never do their bureaucracy by halves. Interestingly they assume their population is still intelligent and can read at length - unlike much of the Anglo-Saxon world.
That is a very interesting and well-presented document. In my working days we used to make flood maps for the Environmental Agency although we did not have all the modern tools available today. On several occasions, we were offered bribes by house owners not to include their house in the “at risk” area. It was also interesting to see that some towns and village were listed as “unable to save” in the event of a serious flooding situation.
Heard about this on France Inter the other day and made a mental note to take a look, but not yet had the time.
