Hello, can anyone advise me of where to buy good(ish) linen? I don’t mind buying online if it’s a reputable shop else I’m prepared to drive. I live in 24/46.
(A friend recommended B&M but the nearest is in Agen, where I’ll go if necessary).
Thanks.
Gail
Have you tried bed specialist shops? They used to sell good linen years ago. The wealthy Parisiennes I cleaned holiday home for used to buy online from DODO for all their bedding and they liked quality.
You could try La Redoute, Alinéa, IKEA , M&S
Happy shopping!
Linen in France is one of my bête noire
. In Oz we get a good selection of thread counts and places like Target are really reasonable. Everything here I’ve bought comes in what I know as being budget range quality. IKEA is OK but still not quality. I did follow a link to recommendation once for good linen here and it needed a mortgage! Please let me know if you find anything decent at a reasonable price!!
I use DODO and also Linvosges, 3 Suisses but you have to look fairly closely. There’s a nice literie shop in Bergerac called literie 24 . If you want big towels IKEA have surprisingly good ones.
Have alook at the Duvet Store.
They have an excellent range of different types of bed linen.
They also subscribe to the DDP scheme, so all tax and customs are dealt with by them.
I have just bought a cooling mattress prote tor from them and it is the best I have ever had.
Having purchased from La Redoute, M&S, Linvosges, all of which are good quality, we have found the best quality to be at;
If you have a Siret number you can access Linvosges hôtellerie section, with their professional range and prices.
That’s all extremely helpful. Thank you so much.
