Hi all. My family and I have just moved here from ireland. My children are 12,9 and almost 2. I’m dying to get out there and meet people. And welcome all hints, tips etc to settling here. Happy new year.

Just the obvious really, learn the language, don't try too hard, let your kids do the work, don't try to be French, and be patient, it may take time, but you will be very happy to end up with a wonderful bevvy of real, loyal, and charming friends.
