The little tourist train that goes round Perigueux has been suspended today according to France Bleu Périgord news. Yesterday the train was spotted veering around as it drove through the city streets. The driver was on his mobile when the police stopped him. A blood test registered 2.1, just above the level at which an alcoholic coma might occur. The newsreader wryly said that the city council felt it necessary to suspend the service since the regular driver is not available!
