Nothing to crow about

Of all the stories of city dwellers complaining about cockerels crowing, dogs barking, bells ringing, farms smelling when they find themselves in the country I reckon this takes some beating. Crows trained to attack?

Parisians?

Of course.

For anyone having difficulties with translating, the story is about a couple of Parisians who rented a gite in the country where they say they were attacked by a crow in the garden. The woman tried to run away, fell over and banged her head. She had to go to the local ED for stitches and they then made a formal complaint to the gendarmerie claiming the crow had been taught to attack, The gite owner said the crow was used to being fed by people renting the gite. But the crow was nevertheless caught and sent to a wildlife centre.

Ghastly people.
