I used to live near Dunwich… folk said they could hear the bells from the submerged church tower… depending on the tide. 
that stretch of coast is great, some lovely seafood restaurants and the ww2 concrete. I’ve never seen the U-boat. We’ve had skate with butter, lemon and capers yum yum.
I have always found the idea of investigating Doggerland completely fascinating.
