Trump is by nature a vindictive bully. I find it shocking that such a man can be using the money and might of USA to play out his petulant demands. Where are the politicians and/or populace with backbones to stop this creature once and for all?

Considering Trump’s latest comments, should the King cancel his upcoming visit?
I I think he should have cancelled it a while back but I suspect it’s too late now.
Trump also said that Charles’s visit would heal the rift but it doesn’t look that way to me.

That was my take on it too, Trump is the lowest form of life on the planet. Given Charlie & missus’s ages, they could be suddenly very unwell and unable to travel.
He’s now saying that “The US” is considering expelling Spain from NATO
Someone really needs to explain that they don’t have the power to do that.

Well, he’d already started on Greenland so the Falklands is a natural follow up. Has anyone told him about the Canary Islands (not to mention Cueta and Melilla); or the French DOM/TOMs; or the Azores; or the Galapagos; or the Dutch Caribbean any other remote territory that is part of a sovereign state. Pretty sure he’ll leave Kaliningrad (or Crimea for that matter, though Putin beat him to that) out of his reckoning.

Someone really needs to get NATO together and find a way to sort this. I waa going to say suspend the US’s membership of NATO but do you want him outside the tent pi$$ing in? Thinking not.
Where is the Democrats’ new candidate? Until there is one there is no spearhead people can rally behind?

“We should not underestimate that this is a unique moment where a U.S. president, a Russian president, a Chinese president are dead against the Europeans. So, this is the right moment for us to wake up,” Macron said in a discussion with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis organized by the Kathimerini newspaper in Athens.
“We have to be a little bit self-confident and deliver an agenda,” he added.
