I agree, I’m sure the RNLI don’t want to be politicised. In any case, they aren’t part of government so if someone told them to do something like that, they can tell them to foxtrot oscar.

The last time Farage blasted the RNLI for being a “taxi service” for small boats I think they did very well out of the backlash and consequent increase in donations. Ironically he might be quite good for them.

I haven’t checked but I think they might be 70 caliber Oerlikons firing depleted uranium rounds.
Lasers are not always very effective underwater I understand - depending on the wavelength. 
Although interestingly (or not) Auntie Google tells me that Oerlikon actually do make a laser gun…
Sarah Pochin is a dim woman. Given the paucity of talent in Reform, it’s likely that, were they ever to form a government, she would be a minister. Yes, I know there are worse politicians in the party. For the latest Farage threats, as ever, it doesn’t matter if they never come to pass, they just make him sound tough and “get the job done”. I think the best deterrent to anyone trying to get to the UK in a small boat would be Farage himself standing at the front of a boat. And for a full on attack he could breathe his halitosis breath on all who came close.
