They changed the way ebay.fr operated a few years ago, it killed it, I think it may have been due to some regulation or other.
I've only used Ebay - one thing I don't ever understand though on Ebay.fr is why people set their starting price so high? It's like they set the price they want for it and then expect people to bid up from that. It doesn't work like that - I thought it was best to start lower and then get people enthused in bidding, drive a bit of competition and the price goes up anyway or is it completely different in France?
I noticed they also do classified ads on Ebay.fr which perhaps is what confuses people as they treat it like le bon coin?
