i may be going slightly mad, but I have just tried to switch on my Orange decoder for the first time in ages. Orange was on HDMI 1 and this has been replaced by Samsung TV. I found some information that said the decoder no longer works with Smart TV and I must download the Orange TV app. This works fine on my ipad, but won’t allow me to mirror to the TV, with the message that some channels do not allow you to do this. I want to watch the Tour de France! Any help gratefully received.
Have solved my own problem, having found the Orange TV app right at the end of all the “stuff” on the Samsung. Do I send the Orange box back?
Personally I’d keep hold of it but stick it in a cupboard out of the way. If you cancel your contract with Orange, they’ll ask you to send it back. They give you a pre-paid label to stick on the box.
I can easily imagine sending it back without your contract having been cancelled will cause a glitch in their system… They’ll then have no record of you having already returned it and will charge you a replacement fee. Best perhaps to just keep it in the box until you need to return it at the end of your contract.
Sounds like a very wise idea! You would think they might have warned us…
