Sitting in the apartment day 4 still very swollen. I would like to see an orthopedic surgeon for an evaluation. I am thinking if I go to the ER they will more than likely refer me to one anyhow. Any recommendations? This will certainly be fun as I dont speak French! Thank you…

Perhaps you can get a French speaker to ring his office and ask him to recommend someone in Bordeaux.
