I was wondering if anyone else has grown the melon “Gris de Rennes”? I have successfully grown melons outdoors in the past but it’s quite a while back and I bought these seeds because they seemed adapted to more northern climes.
However, I don’t think I’ve ever each such a spectacularly tasteless melon Is it because of the variety or is it because they didn’t mature until very late on ( I was delayed in planting them out).
All ideas gratefully received, particularly for varieties I could try next year up here in Normandy!
