As a disaster is happening in Pakistan where the government is pleading for overseas aid the $93 billion Artemis project fails to get off the ground. I wonder how much aid could be sent to those poor people struggling in Pakistan for just a fraction of the cost of that obscene space game ?

It’s always been in mankind’s nature to explore and push the boundaries, I am sure people moaned about the cost of Columbus,De Gama etcs expeditions but the world would be a very strange place if they hadn’t

An equally good question is where the US$ 78.3 billion (1948-2016) given to Pakistan by the USA in foreign aid has gone.

Probably the same place the current billions being invested in Ukraine are disappearing…up in smoke.
I bet this humanitarian disaster wouldn’t be allowed to happen if it was closer to home.
