Useful to know, thanks @Stella

It may be cheaper to buy from this German company. I bought a few bits for a rally prepared 1970 Cooper S I had ten or so years ago.

They also do nice chocolate spare parts. The carburettor and brake pads are bey nice. Good presents.

I reckon all good links are welcome. (especially edible ones)

Incidentally, I don’t know if it still works but, when we’d ordered Car stuff from whichever country.. sometimes it would coincide with an Expo /whatever in France and the supplier would bring our bits (foc) for us to collect in situ from their “Stand” :crossed_fingers:

eg: Epoch Auto (Lyon), Retromobile (Paris), Circuit des Remparts (Angouleme), Le Mans Classic (le Mans) etc etc
If one is a good customer, there’s no harm in asking..

Thanks John,

That’s my wife’s birthday sorted!

Alhough on second thoughts…

1071 S?

1293 :slightly_smiling_face: with a single twin choke Webber. Great fun to drive.

Maybe the original Mini is my favourite fun car, ever. Foot to the floor stuff.

It was mine, 3 days after passing my test, proud owner of a rusty 998 cooper :slightly_smiling_face:
