If you’re that worried I would suggest you turn off your smartphone and put it in the drawer
I don’t have a smart phone its other peoples smart phones reading my pass that is the problem.
I don’t have a smart phone because as someone who is hard of hearing I only need a phone to text nothing else.
As I’ve said above… the info is minimal… and if you don’t have a smart phone, you’ll only be showing the paper Pass Sanitaire to whomever needs to see it.
hmmm interesting. Have you considered the benefits of smart phone apps for those challenged by hearing loss whereby the speaker’s voice is picked up by the app and translated to text…
It’s worth saying for anyone who isn’t aware that the Verif app is freely available on the main app stores for anyone to download so if anyone IS concerned about the information being shown you can download it and test it using your own paper pass just to see how it works.
actually… I’ve just realized… when I show my Pass Sanitaire to be zapped… the person zapping will know I’m no longer 25 years old… such a shame…

I need to reply - a like is just not enough.

Don’t worry, there’s no problem with being 26… ![]()
You really think he needs to check your phone to know that?
depends on the lighting and whether or not he/she needs glasses…

You mean if there is any. ![]()
This Wednesday’s wise words…
For sure it will come. My other half and I will avail ourselves of the top up jab after September. We still are cautious about any journeys out. For example an English friends’ son is visiting this Friday for a week and although he is double jabbed when I do my weekly visit I will be wearing my mask and keeping a distance. He could be the one that brings Delta over.
Very wise to keep up the precautions. Some locals are still in denial… while others are being very, very careful.
I’d rather err on the side of caution…
I don’t generally post on this sort of subject as feelings run very high and I’m a wimp by nature, but Idid enjoy this article, which runs so strongly counter to what so many people say about France…
We had our first ‘holiday’ last weekend since late 2019. We went to Andorra, about 3.5 hours drive from us for a few days. I was amazed that the vast majority (at least 90%) of people in Andorra la Vella wore masks absolutely EVERYWHERE. We did the same, as we usually do, but it was so surprising to see a whole city do the same. I was very impressed, and it made me feel much more secure being around people that took it so seriously. Cudos to Andorra.
A very interesting read… I’ve been impressed with Macron throughout, so it’s nice to hear someone from UK saying this now …
I rarely consult the likes of the Local but this is a most interesting read although probably a little long for some “immigrunts”.
It’s certainly true that Macron gave the French vaccination programme a shot in the arm (sorry
).
I’m not surprised the UK programme is slowing. Tried again to get the kid done. He’s 17, even been called for vaccination but no centre locally had Pfizer so couldn’t get it done. NHS web site says “no can do” if under 18, try 119. GP says “no can do at the moment”, try 119. 119 say “try GP”, then say “sorry we can’t book it”. What is the point of a vaccination booking service that can’t book an eligble individual for vaccination ??! ![]()
Answer came there none.
Usual government cock up.
