Hello, I hope you guys are doing well. I have a question regarding visa validation. I received a Passport Talent Visa in the highly qualified category and successfully applied for validation. It’s been 2 months now and the entrance visa expired on the last day of December and the process is still not finished. My request is pending the summon for fingerprints (did’t arrived yet) and the prefecture is not answering any of my emails or phone calls. Now my employer has informed me that he will not be able to pay me until this problem is resolved. Have any of you ever been in the same situation as me? What did you do in that case? Thank you so much for your help.
I fear that there may not be many who fall into that rather particular situation. Getting a Passport Talent Visa is fairly rare, in and of itself, let alone getting stuck in the perceived bureaucratic archaism of the Prefecture’s own internal procedures.
