To get her with several other Ladt Rotarian Members, we looked to forming a Rotary Fellowship Club in the Bergerac area ( A long story ) but we were eventually informed we didn’t meet the requirements, so we turned to plan B which has turned out to be a more practical approach. Now you may wonder why we didn’t become involved in local French Rotary Clubs, there were a number of reasons taking into account that Past members now living in France didn’t wish to be involved due to a) Language difficulties. (B) Retued, didn’t want to be involved in night meetings , which is the case © Didn’t want the heavy weekly commitment it involved . In the relation to Present ( active members ) They have holiday homes in the area and like to meet up with like minded people. Our inaugeral meeting took place in July where we agreed we would call the Club ; Padt & Present Rotarians Fellowship Club. That we should meet every second Wednesday of each month , always at the Hotel Kyriad BERGERAC, so we were easy to find . Our luncheons are a three course ,choice of main menu, including wine and coffee at 20€ p.p. ( Pay on the day )
Meeting is at 12 for 12-49 pm. With new members introducing themselves and what a wide cross section of life people have and still are living. We are a mixed gender and also welcome persons associated with like minded Clubs i.e.; Round Table Probus 41Club etc
