Is it possible to set up a PayPal account using a French bank account but pay a bill in GBP£?

Yes. PayPal just bills you in the currency of your account at whatever their exchanfe rate happens to be at the time

Sounds the same as selling or buying using PP to get or sell the goods abroad so yes.

i already have a paypal account in the uk. how did you link your french account? it ask for a six figure sort code and my french account does not have one

I didn't even know that i can have different accounts. Is it really possible?
