Recently my pc has started to suggest sites, as i type in the first letter a list of sites appear some i have used before others i have not how do i stop this. As its a recent happening i dont know what i have done to cause it to happen
Sorry not got back earlier but PC went belly up using Google Chrome over 40 different virus all sorted now and back up to speed, thanks to all
If using Chrome, then it's Settings - Advanced settings, then under Privacy untick "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs"

Which browser are you using? If you are using Firefox then go to:- Edit-preferences--privacy-location bar and select NOTHING from the drop-down menu. If using different browser it should be similar.
