I see super u are selling a woodpellet burner insert for woodburners made by a french firm Qaito. We tried a pellet burner insert in Cornwall - a far cheaper one than this when we just wanted to keep a tickover heat going. It couldnt be topped up and we had to let it go out before we could fill it up again.
Anyone had any experiences with this brand here in France?

Thank you, I googled quito, on images too, looks very interesting.
But what about the pollution? Would it give off the same fumes as wood?

When they manufacture pellets, they lubricate the pellet stock so it moves through the mold plates easily. Probably not an issue in a high temperature pellet stove but in a range of wood burners (bad to good) could well be more polluting.
Several years ago I was going to get one. I researched them and found the best made and most reasonably priced one, then realised that it would not be possible to refill it safely (our log burner anyway) as you do when you chuck another log onto the log burner.
