Hi all. New to the forum. We’ve just moved back to the UK having moved to France in 2003 (me)and 1992(Wife). We have paid into pension system for all those years apart from 2008-2013 (Dubai). Are we able to continue to pay into the system and claim pensions later? Would we still be able to claim partial pension even if we no longer made further contributions? Thanks. R
Hi Richard
Assuming you’re talking about French pensions, why don’t you log into info.retraite and see exactly what your entitlements are? You’ll certainly be able to claim pensions even if they’re not full pensions.
My OH did exactly that earlier, it’s an easy website to use.
Thank you very much to whoever it was here who mentioned info.retraite. ![]()
Thanks for replies. I’ll have a look I do remember doing the “ formation pour la retraite” when I turned 50. That certainly went through different scenarios but it’s more a question of having left France now.
