I’m more of an ostrich, what I don’t see can’t hurt me. (Only, I know that isn’t really true but like many things I really don’t need to see.)
I cannot speak for God but haven’t they just discovered an asteroid containing perhaps the first building blocks for life as it evolved on earth?

What puts my head in the sand is to escape thoughts about the vastness of space. If you can get to the outer edge of it, surely there must be something on the other side, says I! don’t like to think about it.
What is real - what I can see, hear, touch, taste and smell and truly understand is fine. But trying to make sense of what we are part of frightens me. Understanding life on earth is OK, but trying to understand the vastness of what we float about in is beyond me. Give me bugs any day!
