I cannot speak for God but haven’t they just discovered an asteroid containing perhaps the first building blocks for life as it evolved on earth?

A friend asked about creation and suggested that only a higher intelligence could create what appears to us to be a highly complex universe. I call that complexity the “Abyss of Eternity*. Chat GPT gave me that phrase!
What puts my head in the sand is to escape thoughts about the vastness of space. If you can get to the outer edge of it, surely there must be something on the other side, says I! don’t like to think about it.
What is real - what I can see, hear, touch, taste and smell and truly understand is fine. But trying to make sense of what we are part of frightens me. Understanding life on earth is OK, but trying to understand the vastness of what we float about in is beyond me. Give me bugs any day!

Excellent news for those who fear we are alone. Less so, for a great aunt of mine who had germ phobia and only opened doors or held things with a handkerchief. 
A nasty burden to carry around through life. There are remedies. I taught an old girl friend to love spiders!
