Just listening to a talk by a friend of this wonderful poet, I can never stop laughing to myself, when I think of one of his poems, ‘They "F’ You Up Your Mam and Dad", if you have never read it, please do, (Google it, you will need to spell out the F’ word for Google 
), if it doesn’t raise at the very least a smile, I would be amazed.

They may not mean to, but they do-
They give you all the faults they had,
and add some extra, just for you.
Or so my memory tells me it continues
