So true, a point proven by the number of updates to each release of Mac OS and IOS. these days. The quality of software development has deteriorated since Steve sadly passed away. I suspect he wouldn’t have had any truck with Trump as well.
I will Chris. I need all the stuff to actually end up in iCal so my wife and daughter know what I’m up to and where (and so I can look back and remember what I was up to and where
). I think the calendar and the email apps re good examples of how Apple has lost its way. Both are vital for day to day stuff and both are rubbish. Instead of rewriting them they have invested development resources in bells and whistles nobody needs. Swipe this way, swipe that way, divid your screen into eight windows, icons with round edges not square ones (announced as some sort of technology break through
).
And if I watch another Apple executive telling me how excited and delirious and incredible proud they are to announce whatever. I’ll scream
Apple execs’ insincerity and faux enthusiasm is world class, unlike their software development skills, anymore.
