Just added this to my list of Kindle books to come. By Alan Johnson, one of the very few honest politicians I have ever come across. I remember when he was made Chancellor of the Exchequer by Gordon Brown. His comment was ‘no idea what I am doing here, I didn’t even get O level maths’. 
A kindred spirit, neither did I.
