Politics alert….. A lying bastard speaks 🙂

Reading the Express comments is one of my hobbies. Sounds like we share reading habits. I think every Guardian reader should read the Express Online and vice versa! The Atlantic is quite a good, thoughtful read as well, as is Double Down.

Hi Kirstie,

I think the only thing to do is to read / view widely and then draw your own conclusions. All the media, including the Guardian, have their own sociopolitical lens. I read the Guardian, DT, Express Online, BBC and just discovered the Double Down YouTube feed. Not sure if I’m any the wiser, but I try

Fully agree.
I always read (in the same order!): the BBC News, Guardian, The Independent, Express, Daily Mail then
Aljazeera.
Evenings I have another look at those and also MSNBC News, APN, Huffpost, then CNN.

Also worth looking at some left-wing perspectives, eg…

Thanks Graham. I read the Guardian every day as both free online and an established habit and feel pretty much in tune with much of the politics. If not the urban hipster lifestyle and fashion stuff! But I want to expand my understanding of the world from more angles, now I am retired in France and have more time to stand back and reflect. I will definitely follow up your links.
