Just logged on to catch up on posts and noticed that I can no longer see how many posts to read to the latest post but just how many posts in total.
In my opinion this is a negative update.
I haven’t any problem either.
I’d close that tab, and then close the browser to see if that sorts it out.

I’m sure the SF powers that be aren’t targeting you specifically 
Clear your cookies, close the browser, then reopen.
I suspect that all will then be restored to normal.

Logged out and back in and normal service has resumed.
All this technology and switching off and on again is still the best method!
Takes me back to thumping the tv cabinet to restore the picture.

Spoke too soon.
Reverted to the same problem and the reply box has shrunk to a square rather than an oblong.
Tried logging off and back on but this time it hasn’t cured the problem ,any suggestions gratefully received as long as not too techie.
@JohnBoy , what exactly did you do? If you just logged out and back in again, I wouldn’t have thought that would be enough.
What device are you using, and what browser?
Have you checked if you need to update your Operating System and/or browser?
Initially just logged out and back in and that did the trick yesterday but
reverted to error this
morning.
Using a samsung phone.
Just switched phone off and back on and fir a moment it showed that your reply was 8/8 but then went back to /8.
Didn’t think phone has updates just laptop.
Its doing my head in

Maybe install a different browser?
What happens if you hit the double left facing chevrons in the bottom right ? This should make the box float, and it will probably be bigger. You can revert to the fixed entry box by hitting the same chevrons, which will now be right facing. You may even be able to resize the box whilst it’s floating, but I’m not sure how to do that.
Correct but as it has automatic updates set to receive then presumably there have been no updates since then?
Happy with Google chrome and have just logged on to my laptop and SF is as it should be so I suppose that narrows the issue to my phone?

Depends. What phone (iPhone or Android) are you using, and what version. Could be there are no updates because it’s out of support.
Android Samsung Galaxy A6 which is a out 4 years old
@Gareth just checked and phone is 4 years old and Samsung tells me the last update was in 2022 as posted earlier
Are you using the mobile version of the display ? That might explain the truncated dialogs.
Yep, that one now sorted thanks, box ow as previously.
Still got to resolve the post count as only showing total posts and but not the post number I am reading so no idea how many posts to read to get yp to date.
