But, the web form asks for your new address at least it did for me. If it didn’t then you possibly filled it in incorrectly. If it did then that is where they should send your postal ballot pack. I have confirmation that they will send to my French address.
Signature required I think. Not sure how they could verify it’s yours but forging the signature aand sending the vote in would be electoral fraud.
I had to give a sample signature as part of application! Plus verify address…
Mine arrived this morning so will have plenty of time I think to get it to the polling office. It arrived with ‘Advanced Mail First Class’ and ‘Air Mail’ stamped on a large white envelope. No date as to when it was posted.
My first thought was to advise trying to contact them and post it on to you, but that won’t work as the return envelope will not be international post paid. Not having your signature to copy may stop a fraud taking place if that’s any comfort.
Yes, you are right. I replied to their email straightaway and will follow with a 'phone call if I get no reply.
Especially for me as my proxy is voting by post for me.

I don’t recall a question like that, I just completed an on-line form.
I’m an old Islingtonian and used to live 3 doors down from Tony Blair, Labour leader, but never got to speak to him. Saw him leaving his house early one Sunday morning wearing shorts and plimsols and driving off in an old mini, to get the Sunday morning papers, I guess.
I shall be voting to support Keir Starmer, and my question is, do I put a French stamp on the return envelope, or do I send it as is – which looks to me to be ready stamped. Will this go through the French post office as it is?
I shall ask at the post office anyway but wondered if there is anything I should know, before I do!

I didn’t know, realise, that the UK & French postal services were so well coordinated.
That’s what I was thinking when I posted mine back on Monday morning. But yesterday I got a text from Collissimo saying I had to pay €0.43. I think it is a scam because the phone number is hidden but just to be sure I will ask our lady post agence person on my way out this morning when I go off to Nontron to get Jules another batch of anti stroke pills. (He had another one which lasted 20 minutes walking in a fig of 8 around the house. The vet said give him his pills now, don’t wait till his normal time this evening. )

Don’t click on that sms message. sounds like a scam. You can check on la poste suivi page (it comes up straight onto the page when you google) if you have the ref number.
If not you can call. for any colissimo or chronopost or la poste thing of the sort eg tracking or the rare payables. I think this number still works 0969391391 . There’s also a short code, 3631.
