Proof of source of funds?

I have been told by a currency exchange on phone today that when my house is sold to transfer the money I need to supply a document from Notaire with details of the sale - as proof of source of funds. He did say the name of this document but I didn’t catch what he said. I have not heard of this before although I understand proof of funds is required. Does anyone know the name of this document so I can ask for it? I think he said -’‘something avec prix’’. Any ideas? thanks!

une attestation de vente avec prix : what the notaire gives you (avec et sans prix) on the sale as proof to those who need to know that you’ve sold. The buyer gets the same which is his proof of ownership whilst witing for the titre. These are given out when signing the acte authentique, obviously the act is signed first, then he prints off the attestations!

An_droo Thanks very much! Yes I think that is what the guy at the currency exchange was saying!
